This course focuses on how to approach the use of bioidentical hormones in your practice, in relation to aging, prevention, and overall health and wellness for women. The topics addressed include introducing hormones, symptoms of hormone imbalances, treatments and applications. Also presented are opinions from noted scientists and experts, along with case studies. There are no required texts. All information is provided for within the course. At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

• identify the role of hormones/hormonal changes in the female patient
• understand the history of hormones
• gain improved insight into the impact of hormone studies
• understand the regulation of hormones
• distinguish how different molecules act differently in the human body
• evaluate case studies and gain knowledge of treatment regimens
